Show the process.
Not just the final room.

Turn a completed project into a story-based case study that shows the brief, concept, sketches, plans, elevations, renders, key decisions and final outcome. Help future clients understand how you think — not only what the finished space looks like.

01 · The brief

Rue de Varenne Apartment

A calm Parisian home with warmer, more sculptural layers.

The client wanted a home that felt minimal without becoming cold. The brief focused on creating better flow between the main spaces, adding more functional storage and introducing natural materials with a softer, more collected character.

Why Project Stories

A portfolio shows the result. A story shows why you should be hired.

Clients often cannot tell what part of a finished interior came from the designer. Project Stories make your thinking, decisions and professional value visible.

01

Show your design thinking.

Explain the brief, constraints, alternatives and reasoning behind the finished space instead of relying on final photography alone.

02

Turn project work into marketing.

The work you already created — plans, sketches, renders, elevations and selections — becomes a polished case study for future clients.

03

Build trust before the enquiry.

Future clients can see how you approach problems, communicate decisions and move a project from brief to completion.

Story structure

Guide the viewer through the project like a designer would.

Each story is structured enough to be easy to build, but flexible enough to fit different project types and studio styles.

01 · BRIEF

Start with the problem.

Client goals, context, constraints and what needed to change.

02 · CONCEPT

Set the direction.

Mood, palette, materials, references and the initial design idea.

03 · PLAN

Show the thinking.

Space planning, circulation, zoning and key layout decisions.

04 · DEVELOP

Make it real.

Elevations, materials, joinery, lighting and design development.

05 · DECIDE

Explain the choices.

Revisions, alternatives and why the final direction was selected.

06 · RESULT

Show the outcome.

Final photography, reflection, project credits and completed details.

Private workspace → public story

Reuse the project data you already created.

The story can pull from the completed Workspace so you are not starting from a blank page after handover.
