Workspace feature, Interactive 3D models

Let the client
walk into the design.

Upload the SketchUp model and the matching GLB file, then give the client an interactive view of the design directly inside Workspace. They can orbit around the model, zoom in, pan across the space and explore the project without opening SketchUp.

SketchUp stays with the designer.

The designer keeps the editable SketchUp model, while the GLB becomes the lightweight interactive version the client can open in Workspace.

Why it matters

A render shows one angle. A model lets the client understand the space.

Clients often struggle to read drawings or imagine scale from static images. An interactive model gives them a much clearer sense of layout, proportion and spatial relationships before anything is built.

01

Make the design easier to understand.

Let clients move around the model themselves instead of relying only on fixed renders and technical drawings.

02

Keep the source file protected.

The SketchUp file stays with the designer. The client receives an interactive viewing experience, not editing access.

03

Keep 3D inside the project.

The model sits beside plans, products, approvals, meeting notes and the rest of the project rather than being sent as another separate file.

Two files, one simple experience

The designer uploads once, the client just opens the project.

Workspace keeps the original SketchUp file with the project and uses the GLB as the browser friendly version for interactive viewing.

Designer workflow

Keep working in SketchUp.

The studio can continue using the software it already knows. Upload the source model and the exported GLB when the design is ready to share.

Everything connects

The model becomes part of the design review.

The interactive model sits beside the same information the client already uses to review, understand and approve the project.

Floor plans

Understand plan and space together.

Move between the technical layout and the three dimensional interpretation of the same design.

Design review

Review before approving.

Clients can explore the model before making decisions on layouts, finishes and major design choices.

FF&E

See selections in context.

Products and finishes become easier to understand when the client can see the room they belong to.

Project archive

Keep the model with the project.

The 3D view stays attached to the project record alongside drawings, products and decisions.

A stronger presentation

Do not just show the client the room. Let them enter it.

Interactive 3D gives clients a more intuitive way to understand the design, while the studio stays in control of the source model and project workflow.
