Workspace feature, Client portal

The same project.
A simpler client view.

Clients see the same project Workspace as the designer, including the calendar, budget, products, floor plans, 3D views, meeting notes, project team and project progress. They cannot edit, add or delete project information. Their two actions are simple, approve design selections and pay invoices.

See everything.
Change nothing.
Approve and pay.

What client access means

Nothing is hidden, nothing can be accidentally changed.

The client portal is not a separate stripped down project. It is the same Workspace, shown with client permissions. The client can follow the project in detail while the studio remains in control of the data.

01

View the full project.

Clients can see the information the designer shares across the project, including progress, calendar, budget, products, plans, 3D views, notes and project contacts.

02

Approve design decisions.

When a furniture piece, finish or design option is ready for a decision, the client can approve it or request a change directly in Workspace.

03

Pay invoices in place.

Invoices can be paid directly from the project, keeping the payment attached to the same Workspace where the client follows the design.

Client permissions

The designer stays in control.

Clients can move around the project and understand everything that has been shared with them, but they cannot create, edit or delete project information.

What clients can do

What clients cannot do

No project editing.

Clients cannot add products, delete information, change budgets, edit meeting notes, assign tasks, alter project phases, upload design files or modify the project setup.

Two client actions

The only buttons that matter.

Client access stays intentionally simple. They can make the decisions the studio needs, then pay what is due, without being asked to manage the project itself.

01, Approvals

Approve the design where the design lives.

No more searching through messages to find whether a sofa, stone or finish was approved. The decision stays attached to the exact item.

02, Payments

Pay the invoice without leaving the project.

The client can open an invoice, review the amount and pay it directly from Workspace, while the payment remains connected to the project record.

Design development

Everything stays visible

A client does not need another portal to learn.

Because the client sees the same underlying project, they can follow the design exactly as it develops instead of receiving disconnected exports from the studio.

Budget

See where the money is going.

Clients can follow the live budget, spent amount and remaining balance without changing the figures.

Design

See plans, products and 3D.

Floor plans, selected products and the interactive SketchUp model stay accessible inside the project.

Communication

Return to shared meeting notes.

Important decisions and shared meeting records stay easy to find after the meeting ends.

Handover

Keep the finished project forever.

Clients can return later to find products, specifications and the professionals who worked on the space.

Less client admin

Transparency without giving away control.

The client can understand the project at any time, while the designer remains the only person managing the actual project data.

Client portal inside Workspace

One project.
Two permission levels.

The designer manages the Workspace. The client sees the Workspace, approves selections and pays invoices.
